To all Candidates,

Remember that individual campaigns need not just encompass posters and pen portraits; you are strongly encouraged to engage in other campaigning strategies. Think of ways to engage your friends in a more personal and direct manner, to leave a lasting impression on them. (even outside school!) Because don't forget, after all they are your voters!

This is especially important in light of current school precautionary measures against the flu situation, so that in the case where the official campaign speeches cannot carry on, you will still have your individual campaign to support you.

For Information:
Year 1 students will be voting for Year 1 SC Candidates
Year 2 students will be voting for Year 2 SC Candidates
Year 3 students will be voting for Year 3 SC Candidates
Year 4 and 5 students will be voting for Year 3 and 4 SC Candidates

1. An elderly couple was having dinner at another couple's house. After eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen. The two gentlemen were chatting and one said: "
Do this when u feel tired after a long day: "Last night we went to a new restaurant and it was really great! I would recommend it very highly!" The other man asked:" What is the name of the restaurant?" The first man thought and thought and finally said:" What is the name of the flower tt you give to someone you love, the one that is red with thorns." The other man replied:" Do you mean a rose?" The first man said:"Yes, that's the one."
Then, he turned towards the kitchen and yelled:" Rose, what is the name of the restaurant that we went last night?"

1. While sitting at your desk, lift up your right foot and make clockwise directions.
2. While doing tis, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand.
YOUR FOOT WILL CHANGE DIRECTION!!

Heys the news today said tt the govt is considering extending the hols by another wk! though it's not confirmed but this calls for some jokes celebration ((((:

A lecturer teaching medicine was giving a classoom observation. He took out a jar of yellow liquid. "This," he explained, "is urine. To be a doctor, you have to be observant of color, smell, sight, and taste." After saying so, he dipped his finger into the jar and put it into his mouth. His class watched in amazement, most in disgust. But being the good students that they were, the jar was passed, and one by one, they dipped their finger into the jar and put it into their mouths. After the last student was done, the lecturer shook his head. "If any of you had been observant, you would have noticed that I put my second finger into the jar and my third finger into my mouth."

Hey all! in case you are still lagging behind time, let me tell you that our school spirits department has done us proud by clinching a third position in the "Singapore Kindness Cheer Competition" and we are hereby to congratulate them for this great achivement!!

A photo taken in the school during their rehearsal, just for your information, they stayed back after their lessons for weeks just to prepare for the competition! What a great effort right? However they are all doing this with joy as they have the common goal of doing our school proud!

Please refer to your emails and IVLE for more information, regarding campaigns. The Elections Committee would like to congratulate all successful candidates, as well as thank all participating candidates in the interviews for their active participation. Since there is nothing interesting happening nowadays, I shall end the first week of holidays with some stupid jokes. Hope I don't bore you people!!

1. A portuguese is learning english and has to make up a sentence with the words green, pink and yellow, so he begins:
I woke up this morning and the phone goes "green,green", i pink up the phone and say "Yellow?"

2. A blind man with a seeing eye dog at his side walks into a grocery store. The man walks to the middle of the store, picks up the dog by the tail, and starts swinging the dog around in circles over his head.The store manager, who has seen all this, thinks this is quite strange. So, he decides to find out what’s going on. The store manager approaches the blind man swinging the dog and says, “Pardon me. May I help you with something.”The blind man says, “No thanks. I’m just looking around.”

3. A man took his wife to a Broadway show.
During the first intermission he had to attend to nature’s call in the worst way, so he hurried to find the bathrooms. He searched in vain for the bathrooms, but he finally found a beautiful fountain with foliage, and since nobody was watching, so he decided to take a relieve himself right there.
When he finally got back into the auditorium, the second act had already begun. He searched in the dark until he found his wife. “Did I miss much of the second act?” he asked.
“Miss it?” she said, “You were in it!”
